Abut EMBASSY PROJECT "PORT"
・We are active with our initiative titled 'Empowerment of Japanese Women on the Global Stage' in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
・We proposed a plan for the 'Embassy Project Port' in 2013 and received the 'Award of Department for Study' prize at the good business awards.
・We are taking measures to find untapped resources with a high potential to connect the ideas of Japanese women and their international peers and create new and exciting ideas with a new found global perspective.
・With these newly created opportunities, we hope to unite the world and maximize the potential of Japanese women in management positions. Not only for international communication but also for the development of merchandise.
My Messge
I started my company in 2006 and got married a year later in 2007. This company has been a dream of mine since my early childhood. It was difficult to make progress with this endeavour, as it is always a challenge for a married woman with children to engage in international business. It is an uphill battle from the start.
We established this project with the intention of connecting Japanese women with likeminded people from all over the world, and give them an outlet and the tools to do business with them, while staying grounded in Japan.
It was our plan to take matters into our own hands and foster a deeper connection with the global community and to empower women to chase after their dreams more aggressively.
Through this, we hope to contribute to the well being of Japan as a whole, especially as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics approach. This is a golden opportunity for every Japanese citizen, man, woman and child , to learn about the many rich cultures of the world and to create a bridge to welcome them to Japan.
